Payment and Billing Options: We accept payment using Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover credit cards, and PayPal. For Paypal orders select PayPal as your payment method when you place your order, and you will recieve an e-mail request for payment. Purchase orders, and net 30 day terms available for government agencies, and educational institutions.
Shipping Policy: We ship to all areas of the U.S. via UPS. At our discretion, UPS Ground/3 Day Select orders might be upgraded to Federal Express 2-3 Day Priority Service; UPS Ground orders might also ship FedEx Ground. If you do not want your order to be shipped FedEx, please indicate it in the "Comments" section on your online order form. Charges assessed on-line for large orders going UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air, or UPS 3 Day, may require additional charges depending on the size of the packages. If the package is larger in comparison to its weight, UPS will charge freight on its dimensional weight instead of its actual weight. If this is the case for your order, we will notify you of any additional charges before shipping the order. All orders placed after 4:00 PM Eastern Time (even orders with Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air and 3 Day shipping) will not be shipped the same day. With that in mind, please remember that Next Day Air orders placed on Friday (before 4PM) will be delivered the following Monday; Next Day Air orders placed after 4PM on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday. If you need to place an order after 4:00 that has to ship as soon as possible, please call us and we will try to accommodate your need.
Please note: Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico cannot ship via UPS Ground for free (At our discretion, UPS Ground orders to AK, HI, and PR will either be automatically uprgraded to 2nd Day Air, or they will be sent USPS Priority Mail. The order may also be delayed until we can contact you to confirm the shipping charge. We will adjust your billing accordingly.) We only ship to addresses within the U.S.
Return Policy: The following section outlines our return policy. At Makobusiness, customer service is a top priority and we strive to make sure that our store policies are fair to all parties involved. If the situation mandates it, we reserve the right to amend the following policies on a case by case basis. Feel free to call or email us if you have any questions about this policy, or have any other inquiries about our store.
As a general guideline, please be sure to inspect your order immediately upon receipt of the shipment so that in the event of a problem, the situation can be resolved as soon as possible. If an item needs to be returned, contact us immediately by email. Once our Returns Dept. has been notified, we will then be able to provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RA#), which is required in order for us to be able to accept a return.
Unauthorized returns cannot be processed, so please remember to contact us for return authorization before returning any items to us. Our receiving department will refuse any unauthorized returns; they will be subsequently returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
Please note the basic guidelines that apply to all returned shipments:
- If the item is defective you can only return it for the same exact item. If you wish to cancel the item you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Freight is not refundable on any defective items.
- Unless defective, the item must be received in sellable condition - seals, vacuum packaging and the manufacturer's box must be intact (to ensure this, returns should be packed inside an additional shipping box), and the item and its packaging must be clean and undamaged.
- No credit, refunds, or exchanges will be issued on any item that is returned without RA#
- RA# must be written on the outside of the shipping box, and also written on the original packing slip, which should be included in the shipping box.
- The returned items must be shipped to us within 14 days of receiving the RA#
In addition to the Basic Return Policy listed above, returned items that fall into the following specific categories will be handled according to the following conditions:
1 - For Hardware and Electronics, we must be notified within 30 days of receipt of the item Returns must be arranged for within 30 days of receipt, or we cannot accept the returned item for any reason. The item must be returned in the manufacturer's original packing, even if defective. We will credit the customer's card or send a replacement item upon inspection of the authorized return. If the item either is not defective, or if there was no error in the shipping or processing of the order, the return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
2 - To return defective merchandise, we must be notified as soon as the item is deemed by the customer to be defective. In some cases, we will have to refer the customer to the manufacturer. If the customer is not referred to the manufacturer, we will assign the RA# and give the customer instructions on how to return the item. Defectives must be returned within 90 days of customer receipt in the original manufacturer box. The customer will be billed for the replacement part and credited for the cost of the defective item upon receipt of the return.
3 - For shipments received in error, as a result of a mistake by our warehouse or our order processing departments, we must be notified within 14 days of receipt of the item(s). We will then arrange for the incorrect item to be returned. If applicable, we will exchange the returned item with the right item, or credit the customer's card once the item is received. Must be returned in the manufacturer's original packing and packed inside an additional shipping box. The returned item must be received in sellable condition. If the return is not received in sellable condition, customer will be charged for the item. Please Note: We cannot accept returns for defective items after 90 days have passed since the order was received. All customers with defective parts after 90 days will be referred directly to the manufacturer. This applies only to defective consumables; hardware and electronics returns must be authorized within 30 days.
4 - For returns that do not fall into the above categories, we must be notified within 30 days for the return to be authorized. Returns must be arranged for within 30 days of receipt. We will then assign the RA#, at which point the customer can ship the item(s) to us. Upon inspection of the item(s), we will credit the price of the items to the customer's credit card or account. However, the return will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. To receive credit, the item(s) must be returned in the manufacturer's original box, packed inside of a shipping box, and received in sellable condition.
